EurOccupations international expert conference, 21-22 May 2008, Marseille, France

                        

The International Expert Conference 2008 will take place on 21-22 May in Marseille, France, at the Holiday Inn Avenue du Prado. The conference is open to interested parties and no entrance fee will be charged; travel and lodging are at your own expense. If you wish to attend the conference please contact daluzfortes@fsw.eur.nl.

Expert sessions

The goal of the international expert conference in Marseille is to gain further insight in similarities and differences in the relevant occupational and educational structures in the 8 countries and to discuss certain problematic cases or other relevant topics. Each session focuses on relevant issues for (occupations in) the cluster of occupations and the consequences for the EurOccupations database.

During the conference sessions, the following topics can be addressed:

  • the occupational structure in clusters of occupations;
  • the educational structure in clusters of occupations;
  • relevant developments and consequences for occupations;
  • certain ‘problematic’ occupations (e.g., blurred occupations, high

     (generalised) heterogeneity).

Maps of Marseille

Marseille, the capitol of the mediterranean has a lot to offer. 26 centuries of history, hospitable residents and a rich cultural heritage. Of course we would not want you to get lost in this beautiful city; a map of the city and a plan of the metro will tell you how to get around.
